Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

The short version

Kidd is built for kids, so we take privacy seriously. We collect the minimum we need to run the service, we don’t sell your data, and you can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

What we collect

  • Account info:email, display name, password hash, birth year. If you’re under 13, a parent or guardian email.
  • Cards: photos you upload, player info, stats, and any text you add to your cards.
  • Activity: cards you like, save to your binder, and comments you post.
  • Technical:basic logs and error reports so we can fix bugs and keep the service up. We don’t track users across other sites.

Kids under 13 (COPPA)

If you let us know during sign-up that you’re under 13, we ask for a parent or guardian email. We send a notice to that email and hold the account to stricter defaults: no collection of data beyond what’s needed to run the service, and no sharing of personal information with anyone outside Kidd. Parents can email us to review, export, or delete their child’s account at any time.

How we use information

  • To run the service — show you your cards, let other users like and comment on public cards.
  • To generate your cards — we send photos and text you provide to AI tools (Anthropic Claude and fal.ai) to crop photos and turn your stats into card-ready copy. These providers don’t train models on your data.
  • To keep Kidd safe — detect abuse, respond to reports, and fix bugs.

Who we share with

We share information only with service providers needed to run Kidd: Supabase (database and auth), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI text), and fal.ai (AI image processing). We don’t sell your data. We don’t share with advertisers.

Your choices

  • Delete individual cards any time from your collection.
  • Delete your whole account from the profile page. This removes your cards, likes, saves, and comments.
  • Report content you think shouldn’t be on Kidd.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we’ll tell you. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
